In this meeting, we will discuss the key points of Donald Trump’s suggested peace initiative (“the Plan”). We will examine the document and discuss what it offers for resolution of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The goal of the meeting is for us to discuss each issue from the perspective of both sides in order to offer a way out of impasse. We will discuss what the Plan has to offer regarding challenging-to-resolve issues such as annexation, borders, Israel’s security, Palestinian prisoners, Palestinian refugees, the right of return and other matters. 

The purpose of the dialogue is not to prove the rightfulness of one narrative over the other one but to get both to be heard and also to provide the opportunity to learn about each other.

At the conclusion of the meeting, we hope to develop and put into place a framework for our future work. Moving out of this meeting, we will have a plan for a series of future events where we will be discussing each issue, in depth, from the perspective of both sides. These events won’t be like any other because we are going to have both narratives and perspectives expressed and heard at the same venue.
